Hip Hop

In this fun, high energy class students will learn the basics of hip hop technique.  Come and join the fun! :) Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. 

Leader: Michele Von Guten

Michele Von Gunten Currently teaches hip hop dance at the Studio at Meredith Bay in Meredith NH. Next year she is planning to move to NYC to continue her teaching career.
 
Michele began training in Hip Hop dance in her home city of Baltimore MD at the age of 10. Her family moved to Plymouth NH in 2007 when she continued her dance training at Meredith Bay Dance Academy under the teaching of Megan Fracis. With the studio she had the opportunity to perform on the Disney stage, take master workshops with Deca Dance Crew, as well as Twitch from STYCD.

Michele was an assistant choreographer for her high school dance team, then continued on to UNH where she choreographed routines for her hip hop dance crew Sister in Step aka "UNH's best dance crew". She has also recently been seen choreographing for local events such as Plymouth's "Dancing with the Stars" benefit.
