Cyanotype Banners

 

We will create 4 large group banners using the cyanotype process, blueprinting using the sun.

Cyanotype printing is an alternative (antique) photographic process using non-toxic, light sensitive chemicals. Placing objects or images of various transparencies on top of the coated paper creates a lasting image. Cyanotype prints are a fun and easy way to create imagery using the sun and chemistry. Create more than one image on paper from found objects and plant material.
